@Hammut that looks s lot like the "w5gi mystery antenna" that was argued actually to be a collinear antenna. http://www.iw5edi.com/technical-articles/w5gi-mystery-antenna I still think that without a balun, one of the legs is on ground potential and the antenna is really a monopole.
